Alveolis has function to exchange gases . The pouch like air sacs at the ends of the bronchioles are alveoli. The walls of alveolis are very thin and they are surrounded by very thin capillaries.

hi mate,

==> we know that the Alveoli are an important part of the respiratory system whose function it is to exchange oxygen and carbon dioxide molecules to and from the bloodstream.

==> These tiny, balloon-shaped air sacs sit at the very end of the respiratory tree and are arranged in clusters throughout the lungs.

==> The alveoli are adapted to make gas exchange in lungs happen easily and efficiently.

==> ... they give the lungs a really big surface area. they have moist, thin walls (just one cell thick) they have a lot of tiny blood vessels called capillaries.

I hope it helps you.
