What is the role of antennae pigments of L. H. C?

all pigments except chlorophyll a act as antennea because they collect light of various wavelength and give it to reaction centre ( chlorophyll a ) . because of this wide range of wavelength can be absorbed hence efficency of photosynthesis increase
