what is the role of brain in reflex action?

in our brain involuntary or reflex action are controlled by medulla oblongata or the functions of internal organ example pumping of heart etc

Brain doesn't have any role in reflex action , as reflex actions are the spontaneous actions which happens in fraction of seconds so if it does involve thinking , it may be fatal for us .

potty2potty: brain has some role because this is an intext question of ncert... i cant write such an answer in boards.
