Oxygen taken in through respiration is given to the heart and then from heart the blood vessels carry oxygen to the all parts of the body and cells and then that cells use these oxygen to form energy by doing a chemical reaction of glucose this is known as breakdown of glucose and then in this chemical reaction energy is liberated out by the cells hence this is the role of circulatory system in energy production
