Hey Friend,

Extraction of Iron -

Concentrated ore - Haematite [Fe2O3]

Flux - CaCO3

Reducing agent - C [coke]

Coke is a black powdery substance. It is used as a reducing agent. The concentrated ore is reduced in a blast furnace with different reactions in different regions.

Hope it helps!

Answer:

Acts as reducing agent

Explanation: The COKE just acts as a reducing agent...and reduces the oxide form of Iron...CO reacts in lower part of blast furnace and moves upward...
