Communication forms the very spine of an administrative system in the absence of which it may stumble and collapse. The success of administrative organisations depends on communication directly. At different stages of admistration i.e. planning, organizing, leading and controlling, effective communuication is vital for managers as well as subordinates. For efficacy of policies it is mandatory that they are communicated to the stakeholders properly bringing out the expectations and mission statement of the organisation. Once the policies begin, working of the staff and the results have to be reported to the management reflecting their effectiveness in the given framework. The difficulties or barriers have to be conveyed, if any, for redressal. Based on this communication, they will formulate future decisions and line of action. Communication can be seen as an important factor for motivation of the employees as once they are clear about tbeir role and job work, they are motivated. Next it makes the very base for their functioning on the basis of instructions and tips informed. So, commodation acts as a source of information. Oral or writren communication also changes the attitude of people by means of meetings, organizational magazines, newsletters and other publications. Lastly communication helps manager control working as well as behaviour of employees. To conclude, we can say that success of administration lies in the success of its communicative abilities.
