Decomposer is a microorganisms act on a dead body of animals and plants and decay inorganic substance by breaking them into simpler substance which release into the atmosphere to be recycled and to be used again .

The roles of decomposers are as follow:
1) they recycle matter by breaking down the organic remains and waste products of plants and animals..
2) these recycled matter are washed up and enter the soil from where plants absorb the nutrients again.
