In ecosystem there are many bio geo cycles. In that cycle there are many animals and plants are include and after death of that animals and plants decomposers decompose their body.
Example - In carbon cycle after death of animals and plants decomposers decompose their body and released energy and carbon in environment and these energy again used by plants so decomposers help to maintain balance in ecosystem. Without decomposers the energy get trapped in animals body. I hope u like it
