The role of the deoxygenated blood in our body is that it carries the blood containing carbon dioxide to the heart for purification and to the lungs where by the difference in their pressure between the lungs alveoli and the blood the co2 gets transferred and get out by exhalation.

Veins are responsible for returning deoxygenated back to heart after arteries carry blood out. The venecava is the largest vein in our body. It carries the deoxygenated blood and pulmonary artery also carry deoxygenated blood
This deoxygenated blood is formed in metabolic activities in cell
