Role of enzymes in digestion are as follows:-

• proteins peptones proteus converted into the peptide in the presence of trypsin
• carbohydrate in the chyme are hydrolysed by pancreatic amylase into disaccharides.
nucleases in the pancreatic juice act on nucleie acid to form nucleotides
• Dipeptides converted into amino acid in the presence of dipeptidases
• maltose converted into glucose + glucose in the presence of Maltase
• lactose converted into glucose + glactose in the presence of lactase
• sucrose converted into glucose + sucrose in the presence of sucrase.
