what is the role of fuse?why should a fuse with definite rating is not replaced with a larger rating?

Well the rating are given so that if the current beyond the value of rating passes the fuse should melt and thus protect the appliances but if we take a larger rating than the specified one then the current of higher voltage will flow and thus damage the appliances Hope this helped u ☺

because fuse help to break a circuit when there is a heavy voltage
it can't break the circuit
and whenever we will connect it get fuse
it can't break the circuit
and whenever we will connect it get fuse
