Glucose is a very essential nutrient for an organism.
Glucose is the simple form of carbs.
It is utilised during respiration to produce energy to sustain life .

Glucose is the simplest form of carbohydrates which is obtained from food.
If there is an increase in the amount of glucose in are blood the it is converted to glycogen with the help of a hormone called glucagon secreted by the pancreas. This glycogen is stored to be used when necessary.
