• The public health system of the India is mainly operated by a special segment of the Indian government which is known as the MoHFW (Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.)

• The MoHFW controls the helath policies, cultivation of medicinal plants, standards of the medicine productions and many more aspects of the health sector of the India.

• In this way,the government plays one of the most important roles in the Indian health sector.
