hey mate .....thanks for asking this question....
actually harvesian Canals are important for the nutritional basis of bone tissue..... harvesian Canals contain various structural and functional units of bone such as osteoblast cells , osteoclast cells etc....these cells provide strengthing efforts to bones ....any defect in metabolism of bone causing extra growth of bone tissue can be avoided by the osteoclast cells which perform phagocytic function on the extra part of bone ....
