Hi,

Your answer:

In 1929, a certain number of men who count in Weimar Germany will help Hitler in his political ascension. Hugenberg (chairman of the Krupp board of directors, media magnate and leader of a nationalist party) invites Hitler to participate in a campaign against the Young Plan. Hitler does not represent a very clear political danger and he has the advantage of diverting some of the popular masses from the Communists. He is also supported by the banker Schroeder.

With the crisis of 1929, the NSDAP and its leader will garner the electoral successes: the most spectacular being the breakthrough of September 14, 1930 when the Nazi party obtains 18.3% of the votes.

Hitler participates in the large-scale (October 1931) ultra-nationalist demonstration in Bad Harzburg organized by Hugenberg in the presence of major industrialists, including Thyssen; a financier like Hjalmar Schacht; generals and even sons of William II.

Member of the entourage of Hindenburg, General Kurt von Schleicher managed to convince the president to appoint Chancellor in early 1933 instead of Papen. The latter, revenge, meets Hitler January 4, 1933 in Düsseldorf, the banker Schroeder. Papen and the business community play the Hitler card while thinking he can handle it. On the 22nd of January there was even a meeting between Hitler and the influential Hindenburg son, Oskar. Hindenburg yields on January 30, 1933.

Ian Kershaw thinks that the support of "big capital" to Hitler is moderate before his accession to power. The industrialists play the Papen card instead. The speeches of Hitler and the Nazi party at that time are rather directed against the bourgeoisie.

"What soon gave me the most thought was the kind of activity of the Jews in certain fields, from which I gradually came to penetrate the mystery.

"For was there any filth, an infamy in any form whatsoever, especially in social life, in which at least one Jew had not participated?

"As soon as one carried the scalpel in an abscess of this sort, one discovered, like a worm in a body in putrefaction, a little yester-dawn dazzled by this sudden light.

"The facts in charge of Jewry accumulated in my eyes when I observed his activity in the press, art, literature and theater. [...] It was a plague, a moral plague, worse than the old black plague, which in some places was infecting the people. And in what massive doses was this poison made and spread! Naturally, the lower the moral and intellectual level of the manufacturers of these artistic works, the more inexhaustible is their fecundity, until one of these fellows manages to throw like a jet machine, his rubbish in the face of the 'humanity. "Let us still consider that their number is unlimited; that it is considered that, for a single Goethe, nature easily infests their contemporaries with ten thousand of these daubers, who from then on act as the worst of the bacilli and poison the souls. Hitler and politics

The Germans and Hitler

The majority of those who vote in favor of Hitler or the Nazi party are driven by motives not very ideological: concerns of a livelihood, local considerations, calculations of interests.

The fuhrer's talents as an orator

"He knows how to create ecstasy among his listeners." Hitler phrased and rhythmic mastery, he begins by observing silence to create tension, then begins his speech in a hesitant tone that becomes more harmonious until burst the first staccato of hacked sentences, howled, that follow calculated rallentandos to underline an important point, all supported by a set of hands that will increase as the speech gets carried away ".

Way of governing

He got up very late, barely read his files, hated to give directions. Often Hitler's orders are in fact answers to questions.

Good bye ;)
