removing barriers or restrictions said earlier by the government is known as liberalisation. in India it refers to economic liberalisation undertaken by the government of India resulting in the removal of controls to encourage economic development. which liberalisation of trade business are allowed to make decisions freely about what they wish to import or export. now the government imposes less restrictions than before and is therefore considered to be more liberal.
