  • Microbes help in preparation of anti biotics which prevents the growth of microorganisms which affect us.
  • Example: Penicillin from Penicillium Notatum.
  • Tetracycline is used in many purposes.

3. Maintaining Our Ecosystem:-

  • Microbes decompose the dead and decaying matter. It breaks the matter into nutrients which in turn is taken up by the soil.
  • Thus, this supports other organisms and help in maintaining the food web.
