hey friend a little confused with monarch and monarchy but still writting about monarchy hope so you mean this

monarchy is the oldest form of goverment in united kingdom. A monarchy is a king or queen who is the head of the state.

the role of  monarch in british government is very important in uk and it is also constitutional monarch this means while sovergien is head of state,the ability to make and pass lageslation resides with an elected parliament.

and monarch also undertake constitutional and representational  duties which have developed over 1000yrs of history.in this all sovergien is most helpful member of royal family

in this way monarch play an important role in british government
