The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) is a specialised force constituted "for the purpose of specialist response to a threateningdisaster situation or disaster" under the Disaster Management Act, 2005. The "Apex Body for Disaster Management" in India is the NationalDisaster Management Authority (NDMA).

The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) is a specialised force constituted for helping during any disaster.

Whenever any disaster happens NDRF reach there with their battalions which include CRPF, BSF, CISF,  NCC etc to help them and provide relief operation during disaster.

They evacuate them and shift them to safety places.
