Each of your kidneys is made up of about a million filtering units called nephrons. Each nephron includes a filter, called the glomerulus, and a tubule. The nephrons work through a two-step process: the glomerulus filters your blood, and the tubule returns needed substances to your blood and removes wastes.

Answer:

Nephrons are filtering units in our kidney

Explanation:

Nephrons conatain a capillary cluster (glomerulus) associated with a cup shaped structure (Bowman's capsule) that leads into the henle's loop and joins the collecting duct.

Some substances in the initial filterate such as glucose , amino acid , salt and major amount of water are selectively re-absorbed as the urine flows along the Henle's Loop.
