they plays a major role in questioning the mistakes made by rulling party.India is lucky to have multiple party rule for eg- China got a famine .you all know that it is single party rule.even India effected by the famine but less people died because queshioning of opposition. inchina there is no opposition and no one are there to question ruling party mistakes as a result many people died.
