What is the role of oviduct in human female reproductive system

It's the vessel through which egg cell travels to the uterus. Each ovary is connected to the uterus by an egg tube. There are tiny hairs in the fallopian tube called cilia. They allow smooth passage of the mature egg to the uterus.
