Answer :-

Seminal Vesicles :-

  • Seminal vesicles are located behind the urinary bladder.

  • Seminal vesicles are narrow, long pouches with muscular tissue on their walls.

  • The seminal fluid secretion accounts for about 60% of the total volume of semen.

  • Seminal fluid has a pH of about 7.4 and contains fructose, which serves as an energy source for the Spermatozoa.

Prostrate Gland :-

  • Prostrate is situated around the first part of the Urethra.

  • The Prostrate gland contains "Prostatic utricle" and "Acini" and is covered by a capsule like structure.

  • Prostatic secretion forms about 15% to 30% of the total volume of semen.

  • Prostatic secretion is slightly acidic and has a pH of level 6.5 due to the presence of "Citric acid" in it.

  • Prostatic secretion contains substances which are important for "Sperm mobility".

  • Prostatic secretion consists of "Proteolytic enzymes".
