Teachers can play a pivotal role in prevention of drug abuse in their students. Children and young adults, may not open up a lot in front of their parents, but may end up doing the same in front of their teachers if they mingle with them like friends.
Mostly from the stress that comes with adolescence and getting influenced by others, youngsters get addicted to drugs which can lead to serious consequences.
Teachers can guide them about the negative effects of drug abuse and the health issues and trauma it can leave on those who are addicted to drugs. This can make them aware of the consequences od drug abuse and refrain them from getting addicted to it.
