ROLE OF ACID IN STOMACH :-

☆ It helps in the functioning of enzymes

☆ It makes the food in semi solid conditions

☆ It kills the pathogens that enter the stomach

☆ It creats an acidic medium in the stomach which enables the functioning of certain enzymes

Ex:- pepsin
