what is the role of the brain in reflex action

Reflex action is a spontaneus and Automatic without the will of an animal.Thus, thinking doesn't involves in it because spinal cord is the part through which reflex action occurs. There is no role of the brain in reflex action but it protects the brain from harm.

There is no role of brain in reflex actions, these actions are carried out by the Spinal cord.
