Role of the Defence Lawyer
The defence lawyer appointed by the accused present the case on behalf of the accused. The defence lawyer can cross examine the witness and also asked the court to summon witnesses and to prove that accused is not guilty. Thus, an accused is given full opportunity to defend himself through of fair trial. The judge passes and impartial judgement only after hearing both side of the case.
