Transpiration is the loss of water in the form of vapours . It occurs mainly through the stomata in the leaves . The role of transpiration in plants is as follows :-
1.Transpiration pull ( Transportation of minerals to all part of body)
2.Helps in the maintenance in the temperature.
3.Through stomata exchange of gases like oxygen and carbon-dioxide take place.Hence, help in the exchange of gases.
4.It provide turgidity in the cells.
