Transpiration helps in removal of unwanted substances and excess water from plant's body

Transpiration plays a major role in transportation of water from roots to various parts of the body, As we know that transpiration is actually losse of water by plants leaves through stomata.

Since, this loss of water actually create a suction which pulls water from xylem cells of roots.
