transportation allows the food from the xylem and phloem to be transported to all the parts of the plants .when water is absorbed by the roots in the form of water molecules around there creates a pressure differences between the route and the surrounding soil regions.
this root pressure any bills water to enter the root hairs through the process of diffusion..
