Vasopressin has its major effect in maintaining the osmolality of the extracellular compartment. Vasopressin selectively raises free water reabsorption in the kidneys and results in blood pressure elevation (Elliot et al, 1996).

Answer:

Vasopressin is the hormone which causes reabsorption of water in kidney tubles

Explanation:

It is secreted by posterior lobe of pituitary gland

If this secretion is less then diabetic insipid us is caused

Which means that urine is tasteless

It is also know as ADH anti-diuretic hormone

Extras,

The over secretion can cause death as more water is reabsorbed and the person dies

And other disease in which intestines don't reabsorp due to ADH low level it cause ureq entering into the blood and after sometime person dies to urea poisoning

So to avoid death they give glucose
