presence of villi helps in large surface area in small inteatine that helps in rapid absorption of digested food

When the initially digested food passes through the small intestine the absorption of the energy will be done there by the villi which is present in the small intestine. Therefore for the energy in our body the villi plays a important role in digestive system in our body.
