Answer:

villi is the finger like projections of tissue that are present in the intestine and it increase the surface area for food .It contain specialized cells that support substances into the bloodstream .Although these villi do not help in the digestion of nutrients,they do help with nutrient absorption..

Role of Villi in digestion :

 After completion digestion , the soluble food gets absorbed in the small intestine through finger like projection called Villi  

 Villi present on the inner lining of the small intestine

 These villi increase the surface area for absorption of the digested food and capillaries through provide absorbed food into different cells of the body  .

 When food completely digested ,the complex food component are broken into simple components .

 Villi have lacteal for absorption of digested fat .

 Villi help to  food gets carried to each parts of the body for utilistaion and storage .

 Blood capillaries in the villi absorb simple components then carried to different parts of the body through the circulatory system.

 When these villi absorb food and pass into different body parts so Here Glucose Is utilized to release by combing with oxygen inhaled through the respiratory system and Fatty acid and glycol are stored in the body under the skin as energy reserves and Amino acids are utilized in growth and repair of the body.
