What is the role played by luteinizing hormone in males and females?

hey buddy !! here's your answer...

in males the leutinizing hormone ( LH) acts on leydig cells to release androgens which is necessary for spermatogenesis .

in females , LH is necessary for ovulation , that is , release of ovum from ovary.

⏩ Luteinizing hormone is released in the anterior pituitary gland. It played a role in controlling the  function of ovaries in females and testes in males.
