Yes it is true our parents play the most important roles in our career. Just think about it

you are sitting on your sofa not knowing anything at all about what to do next(after your 12th) but you mother come their sit with you and ask you what you like to do (in cases parents are definite about your path but we just ignore those) and suppose you tell her that you want to become a doctor.Immediately they will do whatever it takes to fulfil your dream and will only ask you one thing that "SON, GIVE YOUR BEST'.

I don't think that you would have ever been able to figure that out yourself and i feel that their contribution to your success perhaps could be more than your contribution to it.
