The grass eating animals such as cow, horse, etc. swallow half chewed grass quickly and store it in a part of the stomach called rumen.
Here the food partially digested. The partially digested food is called the Cud. When the animals are not eating, the Cud returns to the mouth is small lumps and us chewed. This process is called rumination.
These animals are called ruminants.
