What is the running speed of pole vaulter who cleans a bar of 5m ?

Let's understand the science behind the pole vaulting sport to answer this question. 

Athlete need to run as fast as he/she can, and then kinetic energy that is achieved through this running needs to converted to kinetic energy to reach to a maximum height. Thus faster the running speed, more the energy, and thus more the height that can be reached. 

Mathematically, and using physics, this can be described as below: 
(1/2)*M*v*v = M*g*{deltah}    
      Where, M is the mass/weight of the athlete
                   v is the velocity of the athlete just before the vault
                   g is gravitational constant
                   delta h is the change in height of the athlete's center of mass

Cancelling mass, we get
v*v = (delta h* g) / 2. 

Add your values in this equation, and you get the speed.
