Seasonal rivers are just as their name suggests. They are might flowing rivers during the torrential rainy season in their location wher their water is fed to them from rain flowing down as many as thousands of streams from mountains and hills. Once the rainy season stops, the weather does the opposite and goes into a drought season. The river continues to flow as the water trickles down into the river until these little streams dry up and the river gets shallower and smaller until there is only a long stretch of still puddles where the river used to be until it eventually dries out completely as the months go by. Then as time has passed, the rainy season begins again until there is a raging river flowing for another few months and the cycle continues year after year resulting in a seasonal river.
