This law state that rate of change of time with change in

momentum of a body is directly proportional to the net external

applied force on it and the change in momentum take place in

the direction of force.

Mathemtically :  

F = d p / d t  

S.I. unit Newton .  

1 N is equal to the 1 kg m / sec .  

In CSG system the unit become dyn .
