What is the sell-inductance of the choke required to operate a bulb marked 100w,100v which is Connected to a 220v,50Hz ac supply.

Find filament resistance of 100V, 100W bulb.

Find current taken 100W bulb at 100V.

220V / (XL + filament resistance of 100W bulb) = Current calculated in second step.

Find XL

XL = 2 x Pi x f x L

Find L

apply all these steps for the answer
