Force=Mass*Acceleration

F=m*a

kg.m/s^2=kg*a

Hence a=m/s^2

Hope it helps u.

Hey dear....

Here is your answer....

Acceleration is the rate of change of velocity with respect to time.

So it can be represented as

a=dv/dt

where dv=Change in velocity

and dt=Change in time

SI unit of velocity is m/s and time is second.

Therefore,SI unit of acceleration becomes m/s^2 or m.s^-2

Another example from which you can derive acceleration unit (if you know the unit of other two quantities)

Force=Mass*Acceleration

or F=m*a

kg.m/s^2=kg*a

Hence a=m/s^2

..... ALONE BUT HAPPY.....

Hope it helps you!!!
