Hello!

The SI unit of charge is coulomb.

One coulomb is the amount of charge that repels an equal and similar charge with a force of 9×10^9 N when placed in vacuum at a distance of 1 m from it.

Hope it helps. ... :)

Answer:

The SI unit of electric charge is coulomb.

Explanation:

An electron has  1.6 x 10⁻¹⁹ coulomb of negative charge. Hence, if a body has an excess of 1 electron than its normal state, then it will have 1.6 x 10⁻¹⁹ coulomb of negative charge and if it has a deficiency of 1 electron, then it will have  1.6 x 10⁻¹⁹ coulomb of positive charge.
