The unit of force is derived by the formula…

F = ma

( Where m=Mass[kg] and a = acceleration[m/s^2] )

So, Dimensions of force =[kg*m/s^2]

So the unit is kgm/s^2

But the SI unit of force is Newton(N)

Where 1 N = 1 kgm/s^2
