mass \: density =  \frac{mass}{volume}

∴SI unit of mass density =

 \frac{si \: unit \: of \: mass}{si \: unit \: of \: volume}

 =  \frac{kg}{  {m}^{3} }

So, SI unit of mass density is kg/m³
