Mass of a body is the amount of matter contained in it. It is a constant quantity and does not change with in position and surroundings. The mass of the body never can be zero.It is a scalar quantity. It is measured through a beam balance or a physical balance. The SI unit of mass is kilogram. The other units of mass are milligram (mg), gram(g), quintal (q) and tonne (t).
