Given ,

Area of square = 169 cm²

We know that , the area of square is given by

  \sf \underline{\fbox{ \fbox{Area  \: of \:  square =  {(side)}^{2} }}}

Substitute the values , we obtain

 \sf \hookrightarrow 169 =  {(side)}^{2}  \\  \\ \sf \hookrightarrow side =  \sqrt{169}  \\  \\ \sf \hookrightarrow  side = 13 \:  \: cm

Now , the perimeter of square is given by

 \large \fbox{ \sf  Perimeter  \: of \:  square =4 \times side }

Substitute the value , we get

\sf \hookrightarrow   Perimeter = 4 \times 13 \\  \\\sf \hookrightarrow    Perimeter = 52 \:  \: cm

Hence , the side and perimeter of square are 13 cm and 52 cm
