the length of equilateral triangle which is

placed on (x,y)plane can be possible when we draw the (x,y)plane cross then after draw equilateral triangle according to the plane then erase the plane and draw real (x,y) plane. We can get the equilateral triangle. But the length of triangle smallest will be 2units according to plane. But the smallest will be point size.
