The significance of a DBMS ( Database Management System) are as follows :
- Data Consistency - It refers to the requirement that any given database transaction must change affected data only in allowed ways.
- Data sharing - It is the capability to dispense the same sets of data resources with multiple users or applications while maintaining data precision across all entities preoccupying the data.
- Integrity constraints - The different integrity constraints are : check constraints, null constraints, primary key constraints, referential integrity constraints etc.
- Data security - Data is secured within a database without the insecurity of loss of data .
- Database simplicity - It is a consolidated database containing systematize maintenance activities and SQL Server Databases and Windows statistics.
