  • b) The aquatic organisms obtain oxygen for breathing by the oxygen form which is dissolved in water. The quantity of oxygen dissolved in water is much lesser as compared to the quantity of oxygen present in the air. Hence, there is a high breathing rate in aquatic organisms.
