several chemical or pesticides used to protect our crops from disease.these chemical are either washed down in soil or into water bodies . From the soil these are absorbed by the plants along with water and minerals and from the water bodies these are taken up by aquatic plants and animals .This is one the way in which it enter the food chain .As these chemicals also get enter into the trophic level also .This is known as biological magnification
